Rolling Bottle Item

During the completion of  the development and refinement of the EASI, we have determined that the rolling rice bottle items for the Proprioception: Force Test (items 7-10) Test do not meet the necessary reliability standards. Consequently, those items will not be scored.  Rather, only the crayon items (items 1-6) will be used for scoring. However, the rice bottle items will remain on the test sheet and can be administered as an optional  observation without a score provided. We will provide some guidance for using this observation Iin the final EASI manual

Given this decision, the yoga mat will NOT need to be marked as previously specified.  However, the rice water bottle and a flexible, solid color yoga mat will still be needed for Visual Praxis: Construction.  Since many yoga mats obtained by testers have not met the test requirements, participants should ensure that their yoga mat can be rolled lengthwise and be able to remain in that position without unfurling; testers are also welcome to bring their yoga mat to an M3 course to have it checked for accuracy.
